The Pearl of Tahiti

A treasure from the South Seas.

Unique jewel

The Tahitian pearl is a work of art shaped by nature.

Born in the crystal clear waters of French Polynesia, the Tahitian pearl, also known as the “black pearl,” is a true jewel of the Pacific.
It grows in an oyster, the pinctada margaritifera (cumingi variety) which gives it its naturally multi-colored shades.
Cultured pearls are natural creations, shaped by time and the oyster that houses them.
Their small imperfections – slight surface irregularities, color variations or subtle markings – reflect their growth in the lagoon.
These unique characteristics (inclusions) are not defects, but proof of their authenticity, the signature of nature that makes each pearl absolutely unique.
They give each pearl its own character and natural charm.
Tahitian pearls come in many shapes and qualities, each with its own unique charm.

Choice of pearls

The selection of Authentic Bora Bora

I chose to work with irregularly shaped pearls, such as semi-baroque and circled pearls, which are produced in greater numbers than perfectly round pearls, making them more affordable.
Also the pearls with which I create my jewelry are not the most perfect (often classification C and sometimes D).
Their small natural imperfections do not alter their brilliance and beauty in any way, but they allow us to create authentic and original jewelry at more affordable prices.
An ideal way to wear the elegance of Tahitian pearls without compromise!
